Between 1.5 and 3 million cops. How many are "bad"? If you go by the internet the number would be 5 to 5.75 million of them.

I don't believe I used the word bad. I believe that many have the wrong motivation, wrong mind set. But then, that may be an unfortunate consequence of the occupation.
I'd ask what internet number but I really don't care.

Now, stop being such trigger happy chicken shits.
Well, you do realise that almost everyone (this includes cops, citizens and gang members) are brought up on John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Alan Ladd and others besides. They all have this cowboy mentality. Take their guns away, and America might just become more civilised and integration for foreigners might become just that much easier.
Interesting choice of examples. Wayne played a virulent racist in The Searchers. Eastwood played characters who flouted the rules and would gladly shoot men in the back. And Ladd? Well, let's just say that Shane had some interesting psycho-sexual issues brewing under the surface.

Let that sink in.
Should have just took the fucker out. Now the taxpayers have to pay so he can be incarcerated in a cell that has all mod-cons. Compare that to those who abide by the law and live on next to nothing. Yep, crime does pay. Just put him on the end of a rope and be done with it.
Damn, missed this one, and it was on page one too!
Uh...... no, and no, and no. Executions are more costly than incarceration. That's regardless of whether or not the execution happened -after- a jury of ones peers finds one to be guilty of a capital offense in a state with the death penalty...or some dumbass cop decides to take it upon himself, in the street. Criminals themselves, notoriously poor, because crime does not, in fact, pay. Take your love of the noose and lynching bullshit back to whatever shithole you're from, hoss.

I'd ask what internet number but I really don't care. The internet is awash with "bad cop" jibberish. I didn't say you said it.
And I see you don't do hyperbole.

It's more like NC-4 crossing the Atlantic.

Which he was, according to numerous accounts and quotations. He seems to have softened in his later years, but up until the late 60ies there's hardly a mitigating factor to be found in his vita.

Thinkprogress sets it at 1186.
You're more likely to die by lightning.
An average of 40 to 50 people per year die from lightening in the US.
How do you define "more likely"??

Quite deliberate choice. If he chose the police-procedurals that are watched weekly by millions on TV, he'd see his "point" evaporate. Classic example of cherry-picking.

Yep, he said some disgusting things:
Quote:With a lot of blacks, there’s quite a bit of resentment along with their dissent, and possibly rightfully so. But we can’t all of a sudden get down on our knees and turn everything over to the leadership of the blacks. I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don’t believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people.
Regarding Manifest Destiny:
Quote:I don’t feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from them, if that’s what you’re asking. Our so-called stealing of this country from them was just a matter of survival. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves.
Both these quotes are from his 1971 interview with Playboy.
