Right.  This is precisely why I question why a school would do this.  Is it prep for Apologetics 200?  Who knows?

other students are posting to tumblr and stuff and only getting like 2 replies... I'm just insane and decided to go the extra mile. lol i'm back sorry for leaving for a few hours. I don't live on the internet.

If he was a truly loving and all powerful God, couldn't he create more than those 2 options?

Also, could you, even for a single second, choose to top believing or loving your God? Go on, I'll give you a moment to try.
You can't, can you? Well, guess what, those who no longer believe, or never did, didn't choose that either. I could no more believe in the biblical God right now than I could sprout wings and fly. It isn't a choice. That is just another lie religious people tell themselves to make their monstrous God seems less so.

Fortunately, he is completely fictional, so billions of good, decent, hardworking people aren't suffering eternally because of him.

Nah He doesn't force anything on us. There is a choice. He is everything good and everything that has to do with love. If you deny him or his love then you simply go to a place he is not. Since he is love and everything that is good you go to a place that is hate and everything that is bad. You go to the one place he is not.

It is a choice. A kid that goes to school with us was as far gone as you could be and was even making a cult to kill as many people as humanly possible. Summoning demons just to have proof that God exists. Mentally insane and gaining multiple personalities. He became homeless and when to teen challenge to get off the streets. There he experienced God and was overwhelmed. Got saved and going to school here. Probably the most on fire for God that you can be and Love flows out of him more than anyone here.

God doesn't force himself on you. You have to chase after him and he will show himself and pour into you. Believing is a choice. I couldn't unbelieve because I have seen, heard and felt him. The closest I can come to unbelieving is hating him which is easy if I let the devil feed me lies.

fortunately I'm his daughter and I'm in love with him and can't get enough. fortunately after we die our existance doesn't end.

just prep for when we face atheists or people who have questions about what we believe. Also to give the more sheltered Christians some sight of how things really are. Teaching to be able to back up our beliefs

I was just watching a true story of a young man who killed another man in a fit of road rage. The murderer was a brilliant young entrepreneur, but unrepentant of the murder he committed.

When he was found guilty and sentenced to nearlyou the maximum allowed, his mother came forward and tearfully begged to take the punishment in his place. Now that right there is a parent showing unconditional love. Being mortal, she didn't have the resurrection get out of free jail card Jesus supposedly did, which renders his "sacrifice" utterly meaningless. Particularly if it leaves the majority of his "children" still being eternally punished.

But I see you are one of those Good News brainwasee's who thinks that the good news is that babies are born wicked and sinful and selfish. What a warped and sick view. Sorry to be personal but I find those teachings particularly abhorrent. Children love their parents for many reasons, not just 'cause you give them food and shelter. I mean, unless your parents are emotionless sicko's who lock a child in a room and shove food in through a flap in the door.

Do you honestly believe babies are wicked? I thought Jesus taught that children are sinless and his up to a certain age. Only this modern evangelical Good News nonsense changes that to keep their followers too frightened to escape that messed up cult.

You think?  God started the war in syria, then...or "withheld his protection"?  Was he protecting them before?  Why, what for?  What from?

He doesn't start wars just puts protection on his people during war and takes it away from those that deceive.

You also say believing is a choice, but you could not chose to unbelieve because you've felt him. What about those who chased him for ages and never felt Him? Are they making a choice, or simply not believing because they haven't felt what you've felt? If you cannot chose, what makes you soooo certain others can?? The choice must go both ways to be a valid choice. One must be able to feel him and still disbelieve, or it isn't a choice, it's just something that happened to you but not to others. Like cancer.
Did you actively chose to believe? It seems to me you admit you have not. So why is this magical "choice" something others must do?

Again, this seems like a cheap trick believers use to make God seem less monstrous. Please demonstrate any person knowing God and chosing to deny him, or not knowing or feeling God, but chosing to believe. Free will, at least in this instance is a complete lie or else you'd be able to excessive it right now.

Christians use this choice stick on everything. Being gay is a choice. Turns out it's not. Prove to me that anything is a choice, and define freewill while you're at it, please.

Hi there.

Why wouldn't God just be his old loving self and find a peaceful solution? He's God the all powerful. He could just show himself to the "deceivers" and let them sample his ever so awesome love and say, "If you want my love for eternity, then follow me."

no babies aren't wicked. Babies just are able to show a form of original sin just like you. It's not wicken or terrible or bad. Most christians don't even realize they have it. We do everything to benefit us. Humans are extremely selfish. We even help others to brag that we helped them. Jesus didn't have a get out of jail free card. He bore every sin known to man and suffered greatly for it. it wasn't a quick death he received more lashings than any man had ever been able to receive and live then he picked up a heavy cross and carried it on his back for a mile while people cursed and threw rocks at him. He was hung on the cross with two nails driven through his wrists and feet and then stabbed with a spear. Then he went to hell for three days and suffered. but was risen again to let us know our sins were forgiven and earth was our domain again. when we bit the apple we gave earth to the demons when he died earth was again ours and we had power over the demons. God has given us so many chanced from eve to noah to Jesus. Our God is the only God to come down to earth as a mortal human and die for us. He has unconditional love.

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened."

Those who chase after him are not left empty handed.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was asking.  Do you think that's what happened to Syria?  That god removed his protection? Why was he protecting Syria? From whom, why did he remove it, and who did he remove it -from-, in your estimation?
