Why wouldn't God just be his old loving self and find a peaceful solution? He's God the all powerful. He could just show himself to the "deceivers" and let them sample his ever so awesome love and say, "If you want my love for eternity, then follow me."

God wants us to chase him. God wants us to seek him. God gives his children power. God talks to his children. God shows himself to us time and time again. Yet the enemy deceives us and twists who God is from adding thoughts to our mind that we ourselves would never think. chances are God has reached out to you many times and you just ignore it.

Humans, many of them suffered equally or worse before death. Weeks of torture, fingernails torn off, eyelids cut off. Toes removed. Children dismembered before their eyes. Skin removed, etc. Sometimes torture has gone on for years. Not days.

And then, again according to you, some of these people are in hell for eternity, not 3 days.

How is Jesus supposed sacrifice any worse?

There are a lot of lies you believe just because a parent or preacher said them to you. An authority figure of some kind. Keep yourself isolated to your cult little girl, or the devil might get you with that evil apple of knowledge and truth.

Q: If God is a God of love, why would he create humans knowing the mass majority would end up in hell?

Lighthouse, I appreciate the time and effort you have put into your inquiry. IMO, the question asked in the op is conforming to a religious and theistic way of interpreting reality. Hence, for me at least, since the question contains religious ideas and concepts that have no validity to me, then I cannot give it an honest answer: IMO, it is kind of like trying to combine a Shakespearean sonnet with a math equation and expecting the math equation to make sense out of concepts that are completely unnatural and foreign to it.  Thanks for your time, attention, patience, and understanding.  Live long and prosper.
