Of course I'm not surprised when some people turn a blind eye to the flaws of their favorite. But when that favorite is not and legally cannot run for President, while Trump currently threatens our democracy, I really don't give a shit about Bill Clinton -- and the tactic looks like so much sand-throwing. Trump is unfit to clean the toilets in the White House, much less make decisions there, and all the pointing at Bill Clinton doesn't change that basic fact.

I do my own independent research. I don't unquestioningly rely on any TV network for factual information. I also believe in taking all allegations of sexual assault seriously, whether the accused is joe blow off the street, or a presidential candidate. There are many, MANY reasons women don't file police reports for assaults of this nature. To this DAY women are afraid to come forward. Back in the 70's and 80's? Forget it.

Saying "why didn't they come forward before?" is only demonstrating your ignorance on the nature of sexual assault, and the difficulties women faced back then and still face today. One big reason that I can think of off the top of my head? Fear. Women are often afraid of being called liars, or having their name dragged through the mud (perhaps even be SUED) if the accused is a rich, powerful, and influential figure. Hmm....

Also, it may have had something to do with that disgusting tape coming out...giving them a sense of safety and confidence knowing Trump's own words support their accusations. And then, having to watch the jackass stand behind a podium in front of America and say he's never done such a thing to anyone. If I were a victim, that would probably piss me off enough to finally come forward

The thing is we know Bill got sex in the Oval Office from interns.  There was a big scandal about it about 20 years ago.  It's old news, and he's not the one running for president in 2016 anyway.  How someone can be so hypocritical to point accusing fingers at Bill Clinton yet claim that all the women bringing claims against Trump are automatically lying and on Hillary's payroll just shows how a lot of people put party loyalty above everything else.  Some people are so full of Hillary hate that they have convinced themselves that Trump is not only a good guy, but will make a great president.

But then, everyone is criticizable and none are perfect except in the eyes of one in love.  I'm not in love with Hilary but I'm entirely content to entrust the office to her.  I suspect she has learned from Libya and who knows, maybe she'll even tighten up her email act.  That'd be good.  I'm certainly more confident taking a chance on her real intentions and capacity to rise to the occasion than I am that fat sack of shit in the orange makeup.

I swear...every time I have to hear someone say, "if she was really assaulted she would have reported it!" it's just another painful reminder of the prevalent ignorance regarding sexual assault trauma, even in 2016. It's so depressing. Everyone keeps saying, "candidates need to be focusing on the real issues!" Why is sexual assault/perpetuation of rape culture in this country NOT considered an important issue worthy of attention?! It's playing out before our very eyes in the most publicized manner imaginable, and people STILL don't want to talk about it.
