It's no wonder that the Southern Poverty Law Centre classified Chick Publications as a hate group.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
But it's a Godly Hate !!
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

They don't celebrate Halloween on 31 October because they think it's sacrilege and do it, I think, in February. Yeah in US Halloween is very big holiday and Vatican is far away, so they get away with it. I was more talking about European Catholic countries, like Italy or Germany.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
For me, the final panel with the girl's face was really unsettling. It was a little girl, holding a teddy bear. And there was a mixture of fear and "relief" on her face. No child should have to go through that, yet the parents saw fit to forget about the abuse they themselves inflicted on their child and didn't even fucking apologize to her. But what unsettled me the most was that, in reality, there would've most likely not have been any permanent change on the part of the father, and he would've eventually committed the dreadful acts again in the future ... because Jesus saves anyway.

But when the dad reoffends, he can then just rededicate his life to Christ again.
Christ died for ALL of his sins, no matter how many times he commits them. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

The point of the tracts is to persuade people to repent (which means turn away from) of what they are doing and believe on Jesus Christ, he's not just telling stories for the sake of telling stories, they usually involve different subjects that may relate to a situation that someone is in. That being said, what if a person that is actively abusing a child reads the "Lisa" tract and it causes him to stop what he's doing and seek help? That's a good thing, right? That's the whole idea behind the tracts... that just maybe somewhere, one can change someones life. I may not agree with Jack chick on everything but I see what he was trying to accomplish.
