Why was Michael Jackson stigmatised so harshly?

RE: Why was Michael Jackson stigmatised so harshly?
As for his ever-changing face, Michael said that he was starting to look more like his father as he grew up and it horrified him, because apparently, his dad was not a nice person. So he did everything he could to change the way his face looked.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Wow, Tiberius brought receipts

That's sickening, although given the allegations (which I didn't want to believe without evidence) I can't say I'm that surprised

Regarding his surgeries and appearance... meh. If you're an odd looking person people are naturally going to notice and point it out. Not saying that's right, but it's reality.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

Lol I like that song too...  Sad
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I remember Tibby and I having conversations about this because we both like some of his more popular tunes. It grosses me out, but I really like a few of his songs for running soundtracks, driving music, etc. However, I've always believed that he was a pervert. I can't say whether the specific allegations were true, but the evidence found after his death seems to suggest it was at least partially so. Tibby was on the opposite end of the spectrum. He thought Jackson was sandbagged. Too much evidence to think that now.

Go listen to the Fleetwood Mac music video of Tusk. It will clear that up in a jiffy.

Up, Up and Away In My Beautiful Balloon will work too.

Yeah. "Heal The World" is a soppy piece of sh*t. All the more creepy now, since it begins with a child's voice. Jackson should have gone to jail just for that abortion. That and "Earth Song"

Never greatly impressed with his voice but his dance is pretty impressive.  I've never down loaded or played much of his music but I've enjoyed watching his performances.

As to: Why was Michael Jackson stigmatised so harshly?  I'm surprised his having been born african american isn't more widely known.  That explains why we whities would be harsh on him and his having worked so hard to erase his african american features accounts for some criticism among non-whities.
