Haha, yeah. Mami and Papi, meaning mom and dad. I worked at a Mexican restaurant once and all the Mexican kitchen dudes called the pretty girls "Mami".

It's not usually a sexual kink though. I call my son papi and my nephews all the time. In certain cultures it's acceptable to call you dad, your husband, your brother, and pretty much any kid under 10 daddy. It's used as a term of endearment and not sexual. (Not that it can't be sexual still in the bedroom).

What I think is funny is being called mami and mija by the same guy in the same conversation. This is also often just a cute word though. Guys from Mexico City call every woman mami
