Yesterday my wife and I introduced our children to this fun game. We had played one round and it went poorly. I bone darted the wife's apprentice and it bummed her out. Anyway we played four wizard style with the children and nobody was slain and treasure was had by all. This game is great if you like tabletop wargames but find the mechanics hard to play. You can use whatever miniatures you have on hand for Frostgrave. We use a lot of Bones figures because they have plenty of monsters to field and supporting soldiers and wizards for whatever you need and they are super cheap.
