I argue that the existence of evil is incompatible with Abramamic monotheism. I think Zoroastrianism makes a better fist of the problem due to the unambiguous dichotomy of good evil which does not exist in the Abrahamic religions.
I mention this because had not Christianity become the State religion under Constantine, it's possible,even likely, Zoroastrianism would have taken its place.
