What's funny is you can go to a restaurant down here and the waitress will ask what you want to drink, (usually the options are water, tea, lemonade, soft drinks or alcohol) and if you want a soft drink everyone says I want a coke, and the waitress will then ask what kind of coke. Then you either say coke, dr. Pepper, sprite, any other soft drink they offer.
I reckon it's because Texas isn't the Deep South it's a mixture of the South and the west and we don't play by the same rules LOL

How about holy ghost? Never see it (unless you're into lighting). Some times it speaks, some times it doesn't. Plus makes it's presence known when necessary and then amazingly disappears.

"Nancy Reagan"
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

We would laugh at you if you got upset over soda, fridge, or couch in our parts. That or you would be in constant irritation cause those are every day words.

Im from Louisiana, and it's a coke, an ice box and a sofa.

This is why it's called "Lousyana", yep. Getting worked up over what you call the drink you're drinking, why, that's just funny.

At least down here we live off our land and could survive if the grid goes down. Survival of the fittest down here. Hunting, fishing, trapping, crabbing and trawling it's a way of life down here. Way better than going to the grocery store.

Yes, because you're special. No one else does that sort of thing.

RE: Trigger Words
The only thing that triggers me is the phrase "I'm offended" and its cousin "I'm triggered". It's like... seriously... who gives a fuck if you're offended? It's not the end of the god damn world! Just move the fuck on. Jesus Hitler Christ.
If pinkie pie isn't real, then how do you explain the existence of ponies, huh? If ponies are real, then that's proof that Pinkie Pie is real. Checkmate, christians!  Heart
