Who's from West Britain?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.

God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
I spent a week in Glace Bay one night. That's the extent of my Canadia experience.

Born in Montreal, but 2017 marks the 40th anniversary of moving to Winterpeg. In addition to being Canadian, I am quite obviously barking mad as well.

I think it was in Grade 7 that our French teacher corrected us Anglo kids regarding the lyrics of that little ditty: Quote:It isn't 'gentille plumerai' -- it's "je te plumerai"! "I'm going to pull all your feathers off!" That put things in a whole new light.
Good ballet up there, though. Apparently. I've actually only ever been to Calgary.

I don't watch much dance, but I did make a point of going to see the Royal Winnipeg Ballet perform The Nutcracker last year. I'm a regular at the symphony, though, with season tickets. Also see a play every once in a while, or catch a show at the Jazz Festival. This is *the* place to be if you like summer festivals: Jazz, theatre, aboriginal art and music, electronic music, a children's festival, a 2-week multicultural festival, reggae, blues, the long-running Folk Festival, and a whole bunch of crazy Vikings just north of the city in Gimli.
We're heading to Victoria, British Columbia for a weekend later in the month. We were there back in September and really loved everything about it. The Royal Museum was absolutely first class, the food excellent, and all the people were so friendly.
Damn near went on a cruise between Seattle, Juneau, Skagway and Vic. Looks awesome in photos.
