Hi my screen name is BehindTheGnoll. Yes I am obsessed with conspiracy theories but I am obsessed with learning the truth more than the cover up. O am a GIANT x-files fan and a quiet atheist (I live in small town southern america. People are mean) I have been a doubter all my life but I did not allow myself the label of Atheist until I was around 17. I tried hard to believe to make other people happy but it was just hurting me in the end. I always knew God was B.S but I understood that there are some in the world who cant live without the lie

Welcome. For your poll's answer, no I didn't always know I was an atheist. I was a theist for a long time before I came to my senses.

I dropped my theistic beliefs in my late 30s. I discovered Christopher Hitchens's writings by happenstance and what he said made a lot of sense to me.

Yeah, the poll seems a bit irrelevant to your intro, but it could make a great thread unto itself. Welcome! Southern CA bor, mostly bred and living now, but I've lived in NC and FL as well.
