Can somebody explain how the hell this is legal?

What's illegal about it?  The President's duty is to defend the country against foreign and domestic enemies.  He gets to decide who those enemies are.  So based upon his judgment he has identified a set of foreign enemies and he has taken steps to defend the nation against them.  He would be derelict in his primary duties if he did otherwise.

Protesting, if sufficient in numbers, always helped. It even helped during Hitler's reign. There was one incident where women protested their men being taken as captives and they managed to get them free. Bullies shy away from opposition.

The anger I felt after the election crossed over into fear today after reading about this in the news. I'm ready to hit the streets with signs and slogans. Let's go.

I won't and can't sit silently by. I made a huge donation this week to the American Civil Liberties Union. They (and a few other organizations) filed a lawsuit today on behalf of two immigrants that were being detained at JFK. The man must be stopped.
