Trump's Muslim immigration ban includes green card holders

It's obvious that snow flakes have difficulty in dealing with reality but here's a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OVnqerWUHg that exposes their hypocrisy. It's a very good analysis of the EO and why lefties hate it (Trump did it).  When Obama banned starving Venezuelans the lefties didn't say squat because he was their guy.  Nor did they give a damn about him dropping over 100,000 bombs on seven countries and causing the refugee problem in the first place.  They are so used to fake news that they are now incapable of rational thinking.  

Their objective seems to be to turn America into Germany/France/Sweden/England where muslim terrorists have free rein.  

Hopefully Trump will be able to turn the tide back into America's favor.  He might have to put them on the list as well.

Wyrd can we get one thing straight here. The complaints aren't about the fact that countries are banned from traveling to the US, as you point out, we've been banning certain countries for years.

The complaints are that the executive order denies entry to legal US residents simply because they are citizens of those countries. Those people have lives in the US, they work here, they came here legally, they pay taxes. Their crime was going on vacation or leaving the U.S. temporarily while this order was being signed. That's all they did. There are plenty of residents from those 7 countries that are currently living in the U.S. and this order now means they cannot leave the U.S. because they won't be allowed back in. How ridiculous is that. They are OK to live here but once they leave for even a day trip to Canada they can't come back?

Please stop with the rhetoric and "snowflake" comments, it doesn't help your argument. I'm a legal US resident. Explain to me why I should be denied re-entry back to the country I now call home if I didn't commit a crime, abided by all the legal requirements of my residency, but just so happened to originally come from a country that is now on this list.

This ban stems from a flawed premise to begin with.  Nothing in this EO has the long term effect of securing our borders from terrorists.  It's just a laughable gaff from a simpleton president.

We have mass shootings every day but if a Muslim kills anyone its "EEK! FREAK!" When that guy made poorly designed bombs that didn't kill anybody a month or two ago it was all over the news because he was from the middle east and they thought they could tie it to terrorism. It's fear mongering and the media deserves much of the
blame.

If 3 people die in a mass shooting or 3 people are killed in a terrorist attack, they are no more or no less dead

The EO only applies to people from those seven countries or to people from VWP countries who have been in those countries in the recent past.  While I know you've said that you have a green card I always assumed that you were from a VWP country.  Some of your comments seem to indicate that you are personally fearful of being denied reentry if you leave.  That would only happen if you went to one of those seven countries.  But of course other countries could be placed on the list if they don't cooperate.  So an European or Asian country or even Canada could end up on the list and be deleted from the VWP.  

The countries on the list do not have stable governments and we don't have the diplomatic personnel in place to properly review all of the people in those countries who want visas.  On top of that they are full of ISIS agents who have the stated message of attacking the US and killing Americans in America.  

Basically, we don't want to be stupid like the Europeans and flood the country with homicidal maniacs.  We have enough our own and don't need more.  

Europe, Asia, and Africa have had centuries of wars and invasions.  People from other areas swarm in with the wind.  America isn't like that.  We just have the best propaganda in the world.  We threw the American Indians on reservations and barred black people from even living in entire States.  The basic fact is that the average American doesn't want foreigners here.  They usually come as war trophies brought in by bleeding hearts and do-gooder politicians who use them as pawns so that they can stay in office.  

Now the current refugee problem was caused by idiots in Washington who thought that it was a good idea to go around the world telling other people how to live.  They also did it to benefit the Israelis and the Saudis.  

But this is the world we have now and if Trump is successful he will be able to change course that will ultimately benefit everyone, instead of causing everyone pain and suffering like dummies did in the past.  

And please remind everyone to layoff the personal attacks.  They are getting old.

Yep, UK nationals with dual citizenship are also exempted but they will face more checks if travelling to the US directly from one of the barred countries.

With all due respect you didn't address my main point, which was that this affected people who are already permanent residents of the USA. They live in the U.S. already, have jobs, pay taxes. They went on vacation and when they returned they were refused entry back to their home. That's unfair.

I used myself as a hypothetical example, because you yourself suggested that maybe England could be added to the list.

However the DHS announced earlier today that green card holders are exempt, something which should have been in the original executive order in the first place!
