There've been reports of individuals having out of booty experiences on a daily basis; Often as many as three or four, depending on their fiber intake.

Funny that no one has yet taken up Sagan's test for astral projection: Take a book from your personal library and place it - face upwards - on the top of your bookshelf. Agree with the astral projector for a date and (approximate) time to project over to your place and read the book title. Ideally, the astral projector should live a good distance away and be someone with whom you are not personally acquainted.

Seems a fair and straightforward enough test of this particular ability, and yet, so far as I know, no one has done it. Small wonder.

I tried astral projection when I was in my teen years. Never did get it to work, though.

I don't remember this as falling under the biology banner...
On the other hand it does sound similar to the effects of heroin and a couple of other subtances...
