Joining and creating groups

RE: Joining and creating groups
Well first, you need to be a member for a minimum of sixty days and contribute at least sixty posts before we can even consider you for membership. After that, you need to supply a member of Staff with proof that you are at least 18 years of age.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I do have a WordPress.com personal website. Is it possible to create a website-integrated forum - does WordPress.com have forum creation tools?

I have and run groups on several social media sites including one or two other forums, named after my website. It would be cool if you enable social group creation for everyone.

if it involves restricting other general users, it won't happen.

Many forums have social group creation tools that any member can use. The creators can make the group public, private or 'invite only'.

I understand what's possible. It just won't happen here...
Nothing's private here...

If you already have a wordpress site, why do you want to eschew the community aspects of a discussion forum and create your own group here?

You could always create your own site if you want to be in charge of something.

I just love to network with atheists and engage them with my stuff.

You can do that without carving out your own private niche here. On your User Control Panel, under the Edit Profile tab there is space to share your website url, which renders as a button on every post you make.

It would be nice if you tried to engage with the community as well, though, otherwise it might look like you just want to pimp your stuff.
