Atheist Forums' Biggest Loser

RE: Atheist Forums' Biggest Loser
I am already working out and trying to maintain a decent diet, and actually I'm trying to get Hammy on one too. For motivation and support I think this would be great. I know I wouldn't win anything for losing weight since I'm not trying to but I love the idea of maintaining!

I'm totally open to making this more of a "Choose Your Own Goal" challenge. There could be challenges within the challenge depending on people's goals. For example, if you want to cut out fried food and two other people do too, we'll see who is the most consistent. We'll just work on the honor system. If you lie to get Internet points, you have more problems than an unhealthy diet. Big Grin I'll probably latch onto anything to do with consistent exercise and weight loss. Last year, I stopped eating regularly for a few months. I lost a bunch of weight and lived on Ensures and whatever Tibby could get me to eat. I gained some weight this year. I think it has to do with me just being happy to be able to eat. That needs to stop.

I run and exercise every day so I don't really have a problem with weight (though I suspect that statement will come back and haunt me one day).

But I have the worst eating habits in the world (especially for someone in my profession)

Breakfast this morning: a can of coke and a Le Snak.

You could come up with a million goals for that. Maybe cut out a few of your favorite unhealthy snacks? Maybe try out meal prep to eat healthier for the duration? I'm leaning toward starting this in April and running it for one month.

If we're talking metric, I'm 1.82 m and a good 115 kg. So I could afford to get that down to 100 kg or so.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

1.73m and 70kg and y'all pervs can see what that looks like in A69.
But I ride a bike everyday to and from work, 20 minutes, each way, with no major elevations, now that I'm kinda full time in the U.K.. Before, I was doing 40 minutes each way, in Lisbon... Slightly more aggressive elevations there, but nothing major.
Aside from that, I exercise my fingers daily on the keyboard, and my jaws over breakfast, lunch and dinner. :-P

As I am already the epitome of male physical perfection, I decline to participate.

Okay, so if we do this, does anyone have any ideas for a prize? I'm willing to make a small out-of-pocket purchase if this thing gets enough traction. I want to give us all something to work for besides fitness. If that were enough incentive, we'd be doing it already. I could do an AF-related item like a mug or a T-shirt or a fitness-related item, such as a funny fitness T-shirt or yoga mat.

Oh I like the AF themed stuff idea! I would so support that. Wait do y'all do that already? I would buy a shirt.
