I like them, wife and I listened a lot to their stuff in the early 2000s when we were dating, so I have some nostalgic connection to it - I never saw them live though. Led Zeppelin are of course awesome. Of the live concerts on YT, I like this one the best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFkzZHIcgFs They hadn't yet published Stairway to Heaven, so they are not playing it, which is a huge plus It is a great song, but it's been so damaged by over-playing that it has become a cliché, unfortunately.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

As on the other forum -- I wouldn't wear a shirt inviting a conversation I don't want to have. Life is too short to invite stupid conversations, I get enough of those as it is. TL/DR: NO. “Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.
It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love. Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Re OP:
I quite like the simplicity of the design, but no I wouldn't wear it myself. I don't wear any religious symbols at all. Besides, as an atheist I already have three sixes on my head, obviously.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
As a little graphic, I think it's cool. If I thought anyone would look at it and think, "my sistah!" or "that chick's of da debbil!", I definitely wouldn't wear it. Take the design, scale it down a ton, make it a pattern, and print it on some more colorful shit than white?
I can think of a hundred different marketing schemes just typing this.
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
Around here nobody cares unless it's a very obvious symbol like the cross or the star of David. It's all about the colors of the shirt and its design.
But no; I won't be wearing it. I don't believe in the antichrist nor in the coming of Jesus peace be upon him. The antichrist is just a reflection of all the misery early Christians faced under Rome; to be honest every age has its beasts, all invent pretty much when it comes to torture and murder, and symbolism. |
