As far as I know, Christianity is shrinking. The youth are abandoning the church at an exceedingly rapid rate. So the logic goes, wouldn't Jesus save more people and prevent more people from going to hell the sooner he returned?

Have you ever brought this up with a Christian? If so, how did they respond?

Except there are more Christians in the world every day and if God's purpose is more people in Heaven, then time is the best way to accomplish that.

There, now you know how a Christian would respond.

I am sure plenty have a have.

It seems a waste of time if one is going to argue an all powerful God.

Saying that Jesus will return smacks more like a kid playing an X Box who keeps hitting reset. If you got it right the first time there would be no need for a follow up.

The entire bible reads like a bratty kid who can't get his X Box to do what he wants.

Level 1. Kid "Cant get the Garden characters do to do what I want, fuck them"

Level 2. RESET  Kid, "Cant get my Hebrew characters to follow me, fuck them, FLOOD!"

Level 3. RESET Kid "Maybe if I fake my own suicide I can trick my own players into following me?"

Level 4. RESET, Kid, " I give these assholes a garden, then give them a gang after the first two cant live up, kill off all the competition in a flood, they still don't follow me, I commit a fake suicide to convince them I love them, but now fuck it, just smash the game console and leave the party".

Evidence, laddie.   Evidence.  Your preposterous whining is terribly unimpressive.  I hope I don't dash your hopes here but you sound like a total asshole when you write that crap.

Level 5. RESET:

OK, you humans can do ANYTHING you want, just say you believe and ALL is forgiven.  Drill holes in babies skulls and literally fuck their brains out, just keep in mind the sacrifice of my only begotten Son while you are doing it, and I  AM SATISFIED, and you will earn your ETERNAL REWARD OF SALVATION IN HEAVEN !!!!

Yes it would make sense, but the conclusion only goes one way, if there's a personal God it would make sense that He communicates. If you think you are receiving communications from this God that most other people don't, you can't conclude therefore that they are messages from such a God. One is a conclusion "<=", the other is "=>", and they are not interchangeable.

That being said, God apparently is such a shitty communicator that there are 10000 different Religions on earth all misunderstanding what he meant, and killing each other over it, because all the written communication we got is an incoherent and completely vague collection of tales written down by goat herders and all taking place in an isolated backwater of the roman empire thousands of years ago. I mean, come on!
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

(April 8, 2017 at 10:16 pm)MysticKnight Wrote: Indeed Jesus, like all past Prophets and Guides, is doing their best to spiritually help people to be guided and prepare people for the return of Jesus and Imam Mahdi, per my understanding.

I don't know how much Christians emphasize on the connection of Prophets with all people but they are spiritual guides in the unseen.

And they all call people to the Guide on earth who is meant to be the main leader and companion in the journey.

This is beyond stupid.  All Prophets came so that the justice be implemented, and like Socrates and Plato rightly argued, you need a navigator who sees justice as is to guide the just city on course and all parts will come together through that Wise Captain who sees the light as it's meant to be.

Surely there is an awaited leader who will do that, and all religions believe in this.

Sunnis believe the Mahdi will be born, the Jews believe the Messiah will be born, etc....

All Prophets hence came to prepare for the final revelation and the final just city and implementation of God's light by a chosen king and leader.

Be the final revelation the gospel of Jesus or something else like the Quran or whatever,  justice and the just city will happen on a world scale with a divine chosen navigator to steer us on course like talked about as a necessity for justice  by Plato and Socrates for any just society, let alone a just world.
Bold mine.

Just remove everything you said, except the bolded part and you have the truth.

You're welcome.

Logically, I have invited your sky daddy to lunch so I could hear and see him for myself.

As per the usual, he continues to deny my invitation.

This question was asked in 2peter 3. peter answered so long as there a single soul to be save He will hold off the end of this age. So that none who don't want to perish won't but have ever lasting life.

In essence so long as there are 'Christians'/savable people in one form or another you are good.. chase them all of away, and their won't be anything stopping a righteous God reclaiming what is His.
