I am completely against the MOAB for the same reason I'm against flamethrowers: I'm not allowed to have one, no matter HOW annoying my neighbours get.

When I lived in Southern California the Marines tested a 500 lb bomb about 3 miles from my home. It was used as an antipersonnel bomb in Afghanistan. The test rocked the walls and windows. Water was leaking from the wall behind the washing machine. Pipe was sheared off at floor level. The plumber thought we had an earthquake. The MOAB is a 22,000 lb bomb. That is one big motherfucker.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

I think I should stay out of what I don't understand... eg Politics and World Affairs. In the abstract I'm in favour of this... or any attack on ISIS... but in the detail it's you guys that have to deal with all the ramifications on your country of this. So I'll bow out now and leave it to people who know what they're talking about.

ETA: That was mainly aimed at Industrial Lad... but everyone really.

I love seeing jihadists get blown away, but all that money could be used to improve the lives of US citizens and residents back home. You know, more education and healthcare and all that other important stuff.

Lived on the south side of the San Jacinto River for three years. Just south of Camp Pendleton. Then moved back to AZ. Tempe/Phoenix. Southern Californians called us Zonies.
