Forgotten Road

I can see why they don't plow the snow.
That road is in France and it's construction predates the US Civil War. Amazing piece of road building. And what an astonishing piece of geology it was constructed thru!

I think the music was written for the film. Often it goes up and down with the camera and finishes little paragraphs with the end of a shot.
I like how the road has those little triangles on the side so people can pass each other. I was thinking that those icicles could really do some damage to a person on horseback. And yes, I love the construction. It must have been an important pass at one time. |
