Can someone tell me where in the 2nd amendment it says you can carry machine guns?

A few years ago one of the gun shops in Nashville had an M2 that had been converted to semi-auto that was fitted with a crack to operate the trigger rapidly for sale for $25,000. No stamp or special licenses required because it wasn't a machine gun.  Wink

Hey, farbeit for me to argue with someone who's made her pro-murder views readily apparent.

That insulting enough for you?

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

It's called "selective reading". It's how the Bible works, too.

In order to get a similar stamp an individual has to submit an application to the ATF along with a photograph, finger prints, a form signed by local law enforcement approving the individual to own a machine gun, and pay the $200 tax for the stamp. The process takes months and either the local law enforcement or the ATF can deny the application if they think the individual shouldn't be allowed to own a machine gun.

As far as Walmart or any other business goes they can if they choose ban carrying firearms in their store or other facilities by simply posting a sign by the doors.

Many businesses such as Walmart don't post these signs because they don't want to loose the business of the people that carry guns. If other people don't want to shop in stores that allow guns they can choose to take their business elsewhere, or they could organize boycotts and/or contact their state representatives and tell them they don't approve of the policies and regulations that allow such things. The former is why Walmart doesn't have the signs. The later is how the people with guns got their guns into most of these places in the first place.

It's be odd for Wal-Mart to do that considering I can buy guns there

Do we actually have to say that we're not comfortable with people of unknown stability being armed in any random location we might have need to visit?

Dear people walking around with guns, why should we trust you?

I'm guessing you can also buy condoms there.
