As for educating you to be theist... that's completely up to you and not me. Changing thoughts isn't something you go to war over, as we're always going to hold tight to what we're fighting for. People argue that black is white and will stubbornly hold on to their position. You have repeatedly stated that you don't want to think about it... so we're defeated already.

Of course I intimidate you with the use of language - but you're making the mistake of thinking ignorance is always a bad thing. Like I said, you should be proud of it. If you're not, then think about your stance.

Nope. You've just made your baseless assertion for a 3rd time. Doesn't matter how detailed you make your baseless assertion if it's still baseless.

Adrian acknowledged when we last talked about this that the default position on faith is ignorance. You're born not knowing/ giving intellectual assent.

That is a different point though. That is different to your specific assertion that atheism=ignorance and theism=understanding (to paraphrase you).

Personally, and I think you would agree, I think a person cannot believe against what they rationalise to be true. Hence all atheism must be ignorant of theism.

I'm not at all ignorant over what I perceive to be the delusion of theism.

A little wrong there. The only time I think about it is on here. Outside this computer, religion does not exist. So there's nothing to think about. Remember, religion is not important to me. I have already considered it many times before and dismissed it.

I'm not ignorant, frodo. Atheists tend to be more knowledgeable about religion than theists. Surveys support that. Just because people don't believe in god doesn't mean they don't understand. Once very strong theists who were filled with faith have still turned atheist. Purhaps instead of calling them ignorant you can ask them why they reject religion?

If we are, prove it. Demonstrate it. You won't point out what it is we don't understand and have even told us to look for it ourselves, but even if we did, you'd still say we're ignorant.
