That is nice. I'm surprised about the relatively short focal length. I was always under the impression that they build SCTs always with huge focal lengths. How big is that tube?

Well, to give it some perspective, the corrector plate (the "lens") is 10 inches of glass. The whole optical tube assembly is maybe half a meter? It's not at this location or I'd measure it.

It's a heavy beast, though, substantially heavier than an 8".
