Okay, I know, I never smile.  Not exactly a bitch face but pretty scowl-ly - even when I was purposefully trying to lighten up. Ah well.

And here is a picture I took yesterday of just that enormous flower stalk.  Something blooming for me for the first time after years of waiting.  It is called Beshornaria albiflora, a distant Yucca relative.
