These are the stairs that I stained yesterday. Today's mission? Putting a layer of polyurethane on these bad boys.

Stain, sand, poly, sand and poly. At least two coats. Three or four if they get a lot of use...

At least 3, the basement is going to be the TV/kids play room. I'm anticipating a lot of traffic on those stairs. I'm going to be poly-ing these stairs FOREVER! Especially since I have to wait 12-16 hours between coats, and with the humidity today, it's going to be closer to 16 Sad

But the stairs look really good, so it's worth it Wink
