I love my city, I've moved away more than once, but always go back. I'm not as fond of it as much as used to be. It's changing too much, too fast. Too many people.

I'm becoming very fond of Vancouver.

Of there's one downside to Portland is that it's getting to be a bit too self-aware-hipster for its own good. And seriously, if people keep moving here its charm is going to fade. Don't move to Portland. Just come visit. Smile

Maybe New Zealand?  China's already taking care of our Mexican fence.  Apparently getting other countries to pay for things for us is the latest thing.  Kind of makes them our bitch while allowing us to skate by without paying as much in taxes.

My desire is to move to NZ too. I want my fiancé to get an academic job out there so I can be a freeloder ^_^
