I gave up because the first question is broken. I do not dream about any of those things. I dream about Tomb Raider-era Angelina Jolie, endlessly fucking up at work, and life stuck in whatever video game I've been playing.

What asshole among us dreams about equality? I need to slap you, hard and often.

I got Aristotle.

All quizzes like this are fucking stupid of course.

The last question was especially retarded. To suggest that one particular branch of philosophy of the many I am interested in is my 'philosophical style' is just plain retarded.

Quote:Greek philosopher Aristotle is famous for formulating the theories that form the basis of modern philosophical thought. Like Aristotle, you have an inquisitive and active mind and enjoy a wide range of interests. You can be extremely practical and logical, but also love to consider more existential lines of thought, such as 'What is a friend?' or 'How does my mind work?' Creative and inspirational, your original ideas often influence others, and you enjoy teaching others and are happy to step into the role of leader.

That's the thing you see... Aristotle was indeed extremely practical. And that part is THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF ME.

Logical, sure.

In fact everything else fits besides the "practical" part Tongue

I got Chomsky, my husband got Aristotle.
Fun quiz, though. I agree with others that these are just silly, and some of the questions were pretty poorly written. Its better than "which star wars character are you" and the like, lol.

According to the quiz, I'm most like Descartes

Rene Descartes Wrote:French philosopher Descartes is considered to have founded the school of modern Western philosophy. A rational moralist who viewed ethics as a science, he is most famous for his statement, 'I think therefore I am.' Like Descartes, you are quiet and contained, preferring to be alone conducting research or formulating theories than out partying. Your analytical mind loves to reason out explanations for unsolved mysteries and scientific enigmas, and your solutions are often unique and creative.

I agree with the quiet, contained, and preferring to be alone rather than out partying descriptors; however, I would say that everything else is inaccurate.
