Transplant
Hello friends,

I've talked about my kidney disease and dialysis experience a few times here, usually in topics about healthcare. Well I decided I didn't like dialysis. Glad I tried it, but I think I'd like to move on. Tongue A relative of mine who I will cherish for the rest of my life is going to donate his kidney to me, and after a bunch of work-ups and a few hiccups here and there I finally have a transplant date: next Thursday, baby.

Best of luck, Aegon (with the operation of course, not with dying on the way there...).

Omg congrats, I hope it all goes well

My Mom knows someone who needed one of these, and she waited ages for her donor because they struggled to find a match, but she's been doing really well since.

DIBS ON THE OLD ONE !!!!
