Por me, future. I'm almost certain it will be wilderness with any last remains of humanity being almost totally reclaimed... which is bliss to me ngl

Definitely the future, but if at all possible I'd like to get a lay over stop every 100 years just to get an idea of how we get to wherever it is we get to in 1000 years, well assuming we don't kill ourselves off.

Damn straight.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

The past would be predictable and unbearable.
I choose the unknown future.

Earth will be a dead rock in a thousand years. But it's all happening on Mars! Hehe

The future -- because as much as I would like to see Viking-era Scandinavia, I would be sorely tempted to mess with the mind of Olaf Tryggvason and change a large swath of history.

I think Carlin nailed the future. We don't have 1,000 years.
And that was about 10 years ago already.

Oh wait... we're invincible?
In that case I'd visit the past and pretend I'm playing Age of Empires 4.

Future, but I like the part about "not being hurt". Jumping forward 1000 years might land one in the middle of a radioactive waste land, or a world near drowned with little food and lots of disease.
