Embarrassing things get leaked about celebs all the time. Did you listen to the secretly recorded tape of billionaire Donald Sterling humiliating himself taking about race? If so, why? It's a conversation recorded without his consent, which was humiliating and very damaging. More damaging than these celeb nudes. I guess anyone who listened to that is a piece of crap as well.

Here's my take on this matter.
No, it's not right to view such pictures when they are stolen and the person has not given their express permission for these pictures to be shared and viewed by others.
However, as has been stated already, there are no places of the internet that are 100% secure and it is pretty naïve to think that you can put such pictures on your own account and think it's safe.
You're a celeb. There are sleazebags out there who are going out of their way to find these pictures and share them.

I dont see how you can consider that consent.
No, I meant consent as in they knew that they or someone else was taking pictures of them or videotaping them as opposed to the example I was given where someone was drugged and raped on camera while they were passed out.
How does that give consent for people to hack into your account, steal your photos, and post them all over the internet? You're not making much sense.

Curiosity killed this cat one day a while ago, and I clicked on somebody's link that had naked pics of Hope Solo. Not really sure why. She really doesn't make my heart race, and her pics were kind of hard to get through, tbh.
I suppose it's just that she has a way of attracting bad attention that really threatens to make the women's soccer community look a bit weird. She's effectively gone, but still.
But anyhow, I don't normally do that. I find actual porn stars more exciting (plus certain folks over in A69). But, if any of those pics the OP speaks to are out there, 99 times out of 100, it's the subject's fault. If people want to click, go click. It just doesn't excite me.

When I said they gave permission to have the pictures taken, I meant to have the pictures created, not taken as in stolen.

CL, the photos were stolen by phishing.
Like for example, imagine you're at work someone calls you pretty urgently and tells you your house is on fire but you remember your pet is inside your house! So you rush home, open your front door and rushes in leaving your keys in the lock. The "hacker" takes this opportunity to make a duplicate of your key and leaves the original key as it was. You see there's no fire and figures someone mistook your phone number or something, so you go back to work. The "hacker" takes this opportunity to enter into your house with the duplicate key and then steal your pet!

Ok, then why does that matter? The issue is that they did not give consent to have their pictures posted publicly and viewed by anyone other than the person they sent it to.

I know how they were stolen.
I think the analogy that Steel gave a few pages back was much more accurate of phishing than this.

The idea of looking at stolen nudes just seems icky to me. And tbh the idea of seeing sexy pics of women I like and are friends or friendly with in A69 seems awkward to me.
Could be its the religious conditioning that just won't die or something!
