Most christians come from christian families, most muslims come from muslim families, how many people look at the worlds religions before deciding on one? Most people spend more time deciding what shirt to wear than they do picking a religion

Not psychosis. It's very human and normal to believe what you were raised to believe and what everyone around you takes for granted is true; whether you depend on Jesus to help you find your car keys or your ancestors to protect you from witchcraft.

There's an element of luck in being an atheist, we shouldn't feel too proud of ourselves for not falling for theistic belief ourselves, any more than we should crow too much about any other advantage we happen to have.

No one is really to blame here, (almost) everyone is doing what they think is right when it comes to teaching their children. It's cultural heritage and human nature.

Delusion is a form of psychosis, believing in that which is not real.

It is not human to believe in something so unnatural that it projects imagination into reality to the point where that imagination is accepted as reality.

Yes, when it comes to religion, there is someone to blame. It is those who continue to believe in the delusion and continue to perpetuate it.

No, believing in deities is not necessarily a form of psychosis, although perseverating on religious themes can be a symptom of psychosis - schizophrenia to name one example.

Religion is merely a social construct, like race or romantic love.

No, having a belief in a deity is not a form of psychosis. That's just a form of intellectual elitism to say so, as there are many intelligent, logical individuals who believe in god and are in touch with reality. Being credulous or believing something for bad reasons is not psychosis, if it were many atheists would have to say they once had a psychosis.
Brushing off every single person with a religious belief as a sufferer of psychosis is rather disdainful.
