I was going to reply to that drivel, instead I scanned his posting history. It's sad really, there's probably a mind in there some place but its shrouded by the mists and vapours of religious belief.

It is not the God of Islam, Allah, for his morals contradict the so called benefits I humanity

I do not know the tales of the Torah, but it's just basics to capitalism, amirite? XD (I am capitalist, it was a joke, lmao)

I do however know a fair amount of the Christian God, nameless or not, I know the changes, the reforms.

Catholisim, the Bible is interpreted by the Church, the Church tells you what they think is good, (I, in New York assume things are pretty good)
Protastanism is your own individual study, I dont know why everyone must see the bible so differently in one denomination

i think your wrong in what you say. if you knew about the Christian god you would follow him and stay with him because of his attributes and his message and what he does and did for the people.

Like believing in Bigfoot can be really exciting and can fulfill your time like anything else. That's why there are people who go into the forests all worked up about Bigfoot and are convinced they certainly heard them and even saw them for few seconds. Especially when they mix other things like missing people with Bigfoot and conclude this is one of the evidence that Bigfoot exists because people go missing every day and can't be found so it must be Bigfoot.

And that's why it's alluring to close yourself in your room and listen shows like c2c am where they talk about these things as if they are so real that they're just around the corner. If you only watched the sky long enough you'd see saucers and if you went deep enough into the forest you'd defeneatly hear Bigfoot. But then again sooner-or-later you would have to leave your room and encounter that majority of people don't hold these things to be true. You'll be weird. So you'll have to resort to beliefs that there are evil organizations that hold the truth; that delude people that they're not seeing saucers. Because these aliens want to enlighten humans and yet humans won't accept them.

Unlike religion where you can fill your head with nonsense, like "Man in the sky made whole universe in 6 days" or "There are flying invisible humans around us that take care of us" and you'll find enough people to applaud you for it. Although you'll still have to resort to similar "explanation" of evil forces influencing people so that they can't see what you think you see and feel what you think you feel, because they don't exist.

think about the maintenance of the planet and the solar system. it requires someone to watch over it and maintain everything. like near death experiences. evil in the world. good and evil. morals and intelligence. these are things that came from god.

We HAVE thought of all of that.  It's you who haven't.  You've swallowed the crap from your bible, and you're thinking stopped there.  You're no longer thinking.  You're spewing propaganda.

I was an atheist for four or five years in the late 2000s before converting to Catholicism; my religious experience was sudden, and was due to clinical depression and an emotional breakdown.  It took me five or so years of detox before I came out of it, and so, it happens.

Well they might get dusty.  Look at the moon for Christ's sake.  That is some pretty incompetent maintenance right there.

I have always wondered about this line of reasoning; Did god cause the KT event?

Hmmm -- "yes," "no," or "mysterious".  Got all the bases covered, don't they?

And remember, without god to maintain the planets constant gravitational force the bloody things will off, like a rat out of an aqueduct.

According to entirely too many believers, the Christian god maintains a place of eternal punishment know as Hell.  If I were to find that to be the case {although I rather doubt that it's anything more than a gruesome myth intended to scare people into subservience), my #1 priority would not be to follow it but to eliminate it and free the hostages.

Quote:think about the maintenance of the planet and the solar system.

Maintenance?  No.  All natural processes.

Quote: it requires someone to watch over it and maintain everything. like near death experiences. evil in the world. good and evil. morals and intelligence. these are things that came from god.

Near-death experiences are a neurological phenomenon that tend to occur in the presence of critical trauma and/or hypoxia.

Good and evil are sufficiently accounted for by the actions of humans.  All that is required is a sentient being with intention.

Morals are a combination of evolved empathy and repeatedly tested social standards.  IMO, cultures that permit theft and murder generally disintegrate because people don't feel safe there and leave.  That's why successful cultures tend to have standards that we consider "moral."

Intelligence is a property of the physical brain in combination with learning experiences.

Not a single thing that you listed requires a god of any sort.
