People go to prison for that level of neglect.

How much potential though? No parent declines vaccinating their kid while knowing there's a big risk they might die from it. Instead they think the risk of the vaccine itself is greater than the risk of the child catching a deadly disease and dying from it.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

They are wrong and their mistake could lead to the death of an innocent. Like believing a naked toddler can survive in sub zero temperatures for a few days. In my mind there is no difference.

Obviously it isnt nearly that extreme. If there was some sort of crazy outbreak of something and people were dying unless they were vaccinated, then yes, that would be an accurate analogy. As it is now though, it isn't like that.

On what basis? And before you answer, parents have killed their children on the basis of religiously inspired medical neglect, do not even attempt to pretend that they have not.

Not sure why/where religion got brought into this since I didn't mention it at all.

All the arguments ive heard personally from anti vaxxers has nothing to do with religion. They think vaccines may cause some sort of neurological reaction, autism, etc. They think it's risky, no longer necessary, and unhealthy. I dont know of any religion that forbids vaccines. Not saying they dont exist, just saying im pretry sure most anti vaxxers are concerned about health reasons, not influenced by religion.

Plain and simple. You're more likely to die of small pox than suffer an adverse reaction to the vaccine. If people are to stupid to figure than out, they need to be educated, and if necessary, required by law to protect their kids.
