Aspergers, me?
#21
RE: Aspergers, me?
I think it's possible to grow out of behaviour linked with OCD and aspergers.

My symptoms were definitely a lot worse when I was very young until I made a conscious effort to change. There are some things that have still stuck though.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

A lot of the questions seemed to be taking aim at multi-tasking.  While taking it I was also watching a hockey game on tv and keeping up with an email exchange.  I multi-task with the best of them!

I know the wife has got OCD bad though...

The good side of it for me is the house is always clinically clean! (Why do you think I married her! hehe)

My wife used to line up the cat food cans so that all the cat pictures were facing the same way.  I told her it was an illness and she needed a drink.

I know someone who lines up the fringe on his rugs. And a whole bunch of other stuff.

Weirdest thind I do is 'quark' my M&Ms.

(sort them into groups of 3, 2 of one color and a 3rd of a different color)

It gets really old having to drive around the block to make sure that the garage door closed. Thanks honey.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I just sort them all into one color, and put every one of each color in my mouth in one go.

It goes back a long way with me. I'd sort them one way or another, and dear old mom caught me sorting them one day and had a huge negative over reaction. Been sorting them ever since

I scored 33 as well. I could definitely see me being on that spectrum
