Just the idiosyncrasies of my generation, you had to be there to get it I suppose. So enjoy the spectacle. Get old enough and there will be plenty of time for cartoons in your undies in the day time. But another side they never tell you about is that, past a certain point, you don't get any more free vitality. You want some stamina, strength, flexibility or energy? You got to go to the gym to stir the pot or the fire will go out on all of that. So you'll live longer to watch more cartoons provided you also schedule lots of working out. It feels better if you do, but it is a little depressing to know their won't be any more 'free lunches' or is it 'free rides'? RE: Am I the only one?

Yep... reach thirty and you can't just shovel food into your mouth and expect to stay slim... everything just starts slowing down... I used to be eleven stone all the time but now I can't get anywhere near it
I don't know how big of a stone you mean? Like how much does a stone weigh? Don't they vary in size?
I don't do gyms but I definitely have to get exercise to stay in shape already lol. And with my fm if I don't stay active my body hurts a lot more too. Well... whenever I'm not hyper anyways. I seem to have two modes lately: Sleepy even though I've had lots of sleep and done nothing.... tired all the time for no damn reason basically. That's mode one. Mode two is hyper as fuck and feeling so awake I miss a whole day's sleep because I'm too damn awake. Lol. And I'm not tired and then I go to sleep and end up more tired when I wake up than I was when I went to bed lol.... so it's like "Why did I sleep? When I went to bed I wasn't tired but I wake up and now I'm tired... wtf?" So yeah. Two modes.... hyper and super tired. Kind of fits with the feeling either young or old too lol. I feel young when I have energy and old when I don't have energy. I'm such a mess lol. (October 8, 2017 at 1:14 am)Losty Wrote: I don't know how big of a stone you mean? I can relate at times. Differently perhaps. More likely i feel time is flying by too fast for my age to catch up.

I use a desktop, whereas the younguns use various handheld devices. Fire Stick is apparently one of those, but it also relates to fire apparatus (maybe a brand of light bar). So, yes, I feel like a child because I don't know these basic things.
But, I am also a big NPR-head (and BBC Radio 1[?], and Radio NZ, and CBC Radio 1). Teens usually don't like that. At least the Starbucks-swillers and Ugg-wearers.

I use a desktop too. I can't handle phones because my hands need more room to breathe.
