Two scenarios that may/may not happen.

No, my atheism isn't an issue or product of the truth of evolutionary theory.  The only way to "shake my atheism" is for someone to produce a god.

What do you think of such argument?
Not much, to be frank.  Particularly in that, for me at least..whether jesus was historical, legendary, or mythical is irrelevant to why I'm not a christian.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I seriously doubt that evolution is going to be falsified. As more data is uncovered the origins of our and other species is redefined. Some religious faiths are very ridged, they are unable or unwilling to adapt to scientific discovery and changing social norms. Other religious faiths are adjusting to modern science and culture quite well.

If Jesus lived or if he was made up really does not matter now. Christianity shaped western society, what difference does it make if it was not based in reality. The message of the various faith will not change if you come to the conclusion that Jesus never lived. Take what you want from your religion and leave the rest, that is what most people do.

Agreed, thoiugh I would say refined rather than redefined. Every new development takes us closer to actuality than before.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Jesusism shaped western society until the late 17th century when everyone seems to have woken up and told them to go fuck themselves.  After that it was the principles of the Enlightenment that shaped the west and the church could go suck a dick.

Please don't tell me what I can and can't write here, okay? good!  Now, I didn't say "all historians agree", what I said was " a good number of historians" that's different. And the Gospels are indeed historical materials; you don't have to be a Christian to accept that. Now are all the things written in them as true, some yes and some no, but you don't dismiss entire books just because you happen to not agree with what they say. History is full of documents that are not 100% accurate. Nevertheless, they're used by historians.

Unless the parts that are "used by historians" and are "historical" are the parts with a zombie jew..it's irrelevant to the truth of christianity.  Christ is a title, not a surname.

You're wrong, this myth that you believe in which claims that the West before the 17th century was an awful place, and people were ignorant is just that, a myth. And "everyone seems to have woken up and told them..." everyone? Really? Do you even believe that statement?. You seem to be one of the few atheists that just hate religion and have a total disregard to any facts that support religion, and that is as dogmatic and as dangerous as the religion you stand against. You don't have to be a fundamentalist who hates religion to be an atheist.

Whether you like it or not, Christianity shaped the Western Culture before and even after the 17th century. And not just that, but also the Islamic Science that was produced by the Muslim Thinkers at the time when they kept and translated the writings of the Greek and the Romans to Arabic and which some of them later on were translated by Europeans. So in a nutshell, the writings of the great philosophers wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for the monks who kept some of them and the Muslim Thinkers who translated many of them later on.

He didn't. Stop playing the martyr card. It's very boring.

Until you can identify a single one of those facts.....Ray, it looks like a pretext to fling shit.

RE: Two scenarios that may/may not happen.
Moron jesus freaks think they are historical.  I suppose you think it is a historical fact that your godboy flew up to fucking heaven, right?

We do not know who wrote them.  We don't know when they were written.  We don't know what, if any, source material was used for the original story (Gmark) although we can see that the later stories were largely copied from that one.

That is not history son.  That is religious bullshit.
