Not a particle.

Creationists have declared war upon nature, and now nature is extracting an awful retribution.

Let them DIE.

We act like this is a joke, but highly religious people sometimes commit suicide like this by not taking medications because god's going to save them. It's when they don't get treatment for their sick children for this reason that it becomes tragic.

If Christian Scientists (and others) are not amenable to reason, carefully and thoughtfully supplied by atheists as it seems, whether or not the atheists concur, Darwin will, if given long enough, remove any propensity towards Christian Scientistism from the gene pool.

Sucks to be their kids.

Is it necessary to destroy Christian Scientist churches in order to save them ?? Seems rather kinder, if you will, than letting natural selection do it. But it will occur either way.

Here is another favorite example:
Cows' tongues fit perfectly into their nostrils. True story.

If The Flintstones have taught us anything, it's that pelicans can be used to mix cement.

We are on the cusp of a new branch of the evolutionary tree. It will be a technological branch. When machines meet AI, meet quantum computing then we will see a conscious, sentient being that will evolve far quicker than humans and become the dominant species on the planet. The question relevant to humanity at this stage is will this new dominant species develop compassion and allow us to live like a quaint little pet dog or will compassion be deemed unnecessary for progress and we will be eradicated like a virus? Any way it goes, we are in for some interesting times ahead!

Special definition for evolution then?

Why does it have to be just biological? If we create a species that has consciousness and self awareness, is it not equal or better than us? We then become the gods that create sentient beings. However, they may turn around and destroy us but hey, that's the cost of being a god.

  • Language
  • Religion

Then that's not evolution, that's a new brand of creation. Evolution is "change through time." The mechanism is mutation.
