I'm not saying they were untalented crap. It's just that we didn't want to listen to that music any longer. We wanted stupid, loud, fast, and obnoxious! We wanted fun not "moon in June".
There was this late mid 70's band in LA called The Dickies. The scene hadn't yet developed in So Cal(LA was a late comer) so the band moved to London. When they returned everyone thought they were an English band. But they were from LA.
This band became HUGE! And when they played this song from a very popular TV show from our youth, everyone remembered what it was like being a kid again and the place would just erupt! How many of you remember this TV show?
