Seems like a waste of time to me Why call the universe "god" when you can just call it "the universe"?

I would look it up first, before you label yourself pantheist, or panentheist, or philatelist for that matter. You might as wel call yourself Wiccan.

Spiritual is just such a broad term that nobody has any practical use for it. It is highly overvalued. Being in awe of life and the universe is not the same as thinking the universe is somehow "spiritual".

My view too. Its not only misusing but I think the word "God" is highly unworthy of the universe (and the word universe, in my mind at least) because of all the crappy baggage it carries.

In Einsteins day that was perhaps the best way to express his non-belief, I dunno.

Although he did have to repeat himself about how he does not believe in a personal God.

And he said "I am a deeply religious nonbeliever, this is a somewhat new kind of religion"

I THINK I've got it word for word but I don't know whether I've got the punctuation exactly right. And I don't think its worth getting TGD out just for that. I could google but, meh. I've told you it may not be exactly exact.
