Seems to have left "Allah" out, very popular "form" of aliens..at present. In any case, I tyhink that you're giving the similarities a short shrift, Atlas. Theres more than just the proposition of the creator in both. They're both (magic books and sci fi creature features) attempts to narrate and provide commentary on the human condition..as seen by whomever wrote them..and the creatures in question whether we call them gods or aliens serve as a foil in setting up a very human drama.
It's an observation that strikes me whenever a religious person starts complaining about god having taken a back seat. God started out in the back seat, preftext for the human elements of the story. It's not surprising to find him there.

Yep. A god that created the Universe in six days, that made stars as lamps for signs and seasons, and flooded the world for no result? That cunt we can safely say doesn't exist.

If we're setting odds on the existence of aliens they're probably quite a bit higher than that..even as the odds of human beings having ever come into contact with that life approach a null value. The difference between existence and contact as propositions is as vast as the space between hypothetical life.
It's a depressing thought, really. We may be living in a universe teeming with life that will never make contact with other life. Just a bunch of lonely drifters.
I sayed 50% because I divided it into 2 options:
1. That the universe is still young ( 13 billions but for eternity how much doest that mean ) and other higlly intelligent forms of life haven't developed.
2. They exist but are that tehnolgically evolved to make contact and neither are us .
Of course there are many possibilities but I'll stick to that in the matter of existence or better not yet existing( we can't say that alien life won't occur).
And if the multiverse theory is provided I think that the probability is 1.

The trouble isn't really the probability of extraterrestrial life, or advanced extraterrestrial life. The trouble is that there's no reason or evidence to suggest that "alien transmission" is even a safe -assumption- for the origin of that signal... regardless of whether there's extraterrestrial life, or advanced extraterrestrial life.
The one does not rationally inform the other, or have an effect on probability setting.
You know, for example, that there are people living in the house next to you. That doesn't lead you to posit that everything flying over your roof that you can't explain comes out of their window. Feel me? Assume that the probability of aliens or nextdoor neighbors is unity - that they exist. What does that have to do with the stuff that careens over your house?
The parallel to ufo stories above was entirely unintentional, btw..but I think equally instructive.

Yeah , I was thinking that you were arguing my probability of extraterestrial life , didn't thinked that it was about the probability of the signal beeing from them , my bad. The origin of the signal has a lot of options , the one that Minimalist presented seems quite plausible.

The odds between 1 and 2 shift back and forth depending on where you live. 
I want to shit on my neighbors lawn before I die. I'll pay the fine..I'd even do a night in jail. Imma wait till I'm like 80 though, so I can plead senility. So the odds go up for 2 drastically on my property line.

Is God of/from earth? then does that not make him an alien?
Better yet. Does God live on earth? yet the claim is he lives in heaven which is not of this earth.
Now doesn't that make God a trans-dimensional alien by modern terms?
If you believe aliens ha anything to do with creation why can't that being have the title 'god?'

If you're content with the proposition that your "god" is actually some air breather from mars or other dimension mars..that;s your call. Not anyone elses. I call aliens aliens, it somehow seems more accurate than conflating them with a fictional character in magic book.
