No part of it. What they didn't disclose is that Steele was paid to produce the dossier by the DNC and the Clinton campaign.

The memo effectively destroys the argument that the Steele dossier caused the Russian investigation. As the memo states, the investigation began when Papadopoulos got drunk with an Australian diplomat.

But thanks for the link. I love reading comments from readers. Like this one, which sums up what is wrong with Spying on Americans; which is the WHOLE POINT.

So one drunk, low-level staffer mouths off to an Australian and that is enough to MEET THE STANDARD of being able to use all the tools of government (FBI, CIA, etc.) to spy on one's political opponent during a very heated campaign. If that is the case, then it is FAR WORSE than even the memo implies and 3 things really need attention:

1) The person, working for Obama, that took this hearsay to the judge to try to get approval to SPY ON A POLITICAL OPPONENT during a very heated campaign needs to be JAILED.

2) The judge that authorized the SPYING ON A POLITICAL OPPONENT during a very heated campaign, based on this hearsay, also needs to be JAILED.

3) The SYSTEM that permits a sitting administration to SPY ON A POLITICAL OPPONENT during a very heated campaign needs to be SCRAPPED. It's MUCH SAFER for this country to take its chances with Russian ghosts trying to influence an election than it is to allow a sitting administration to SPY ON A POLITICAL OPPONENT (during a very heated campaign, I may add).

The FBI has abused it's powers investigating leftists, John Lennon, movie stars, M.L.K. , Civil Rights workers, etc. The right wingers were all for it. "Must keep those Reds from infiltrating our Great nation!". Then, after 9-11, they praised wiretapping Muslims to "protect us from terrorists!".

Now, Russia has actually interfered , and perhaps toppled a U.S. election, and the right wingers don't even want to know. They whine about the FBI powers that once served their McCarthy era dreams. What a bunch of snowflakes. Whiny twits.

If there's a rebuttal, I'm all for it. I don't expect much. Note that the Dems were saying this memo shouldn't be released because it would be catastrophic for national security, which turned out to be total BS.

Has anyone seen how far the DOW fell today?

Are you saying that the memo release and the change in the market are directly related?

I think they might be. Ofc, I could be wrong. But I had CNN on all day yesterday and they had a window up where you could clearly see real time stock fluctuations and it wasn't looking good. That happened the day the president released the memo, so you tell me.
