Humans created gods and their laws. We create laws and determine what crime is. We always have. IMHO, We just do not have sky fairies to embellish our laws and law givers with extra authority. One crime is called fraud. The creators of the concept of sin committed fraud and are guilty of this crime.
I hold the humans perpetuating these lies accountable today. In the court of public opinion, that is.

You are talking about a system of law which you agree to, but what about other systems of law?

What about the changes to our own systems - more draconian every year?

How many innocent and relatively innocent people are in your (US) jails?

How many governments in the world aren't corrupt?

Are you speaking for yourself or the whole country and world?

Or do you have a trust in world authorities?

Are you aware of the atrocities committed by all the governments of the world?

I am aware of humans treating humans badly. We are alone on this planet. There are no gods to help us. All we can do is struggle and argue for the best world possible.

The majority of people claim to be religious, yet they still do immoral things. Clearly, adherence to a religious belief has not impacted them. Clearly, religion has not fixed the problem of immorality whatsoever.

If the past is any indication of the future...we know what to expect - an ideal, war and an end of it.

Hypocrisy and corruption doesn't necessarily make the law bad does it?
Whether that law is religious or not.

True. Yet, you still have a concept of a mountain. According to DC, upon actually seeing a mountain, you no longer have a concept of a mountain.

Mountains give a shit about how things are according to gc exactly as much as I do.  Wink
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Isn't that the final chapter of your bloody bible?

The greatest trick the church ever pulled was convincing the masses that sin was real.

OK, let's try again: your concept of a rock is how you know a rock is a rock. Without having a concept of a rock, you wouldn't know what one is. It's how you can tell a rock you've never seen before is a rock. Because you know what a rock is. You have a concept of what a rock is. If you see an object that doesn't fit that concept, you conclude it is not a rock.

Okay let's try this again, concept by definition is not actual knowledge. In your little picture here you have missed something very important, what if my concept of a rock is wrong, concepts are not taught. So my concept of a rock is wrong and I call a tree a rock and your concept of a rock is correct and you call a rock a rock, how to you explain to me that my concept is not correct being that a concept is not actual knowledge.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

It's the whole book over and over.

But I wanted to ask you - why is it so important for us to all get along and work it out, when we only get a few decades on earth?

Nobody remembers societies in the past that achieved it, or tried to, they're dead, gone, forgotten...
so why is your generation or the next any different?
