Yes.
That must be quite interesting with being an atheist. Do you find that challenging at all?

It's okay.
Brewer's my friend.
I threaten to kill him at least once a week.

Is being a libertarian atheist challenging?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Being atheist in a predominantly religious world, of course, is challenging. It has to be even more challenging to be a modern conservative when most people desire societal progress rather than unnecessary one percentile special privilege.

"atheist" being a fellow atheist, is not what I focus on.
I have huge problems with libertarians on economics as much as I do the GOP.
I think libertarians are GREAT on social issues, but really to me on economics an taxes, simply a Republican willing to extend poverty wages to pot smokers and LGBT.
I like Penn for example, for his positions on religion and race issues and his support of LGBT. I love him for that. But no, I know our history of economics over the century and taxing the rich is what gave us the middle class, Reagan's deregulation and "don't tax the rich" have exploded our pay gap and kept wages stagnant and or falling.
I am glad we agree on claims of god/s, but atheists do not always agree on politics and economics.
I am not fond of either Ayn Rand supporting atheists anymore than I like Che supporting atheists <---- he is the guy that lead to Castro's Cuba.
I am myself, neither "nanny state" or "no rules, taxes are robbery". I am pro private sector, but not a free for all where only the rich get to write our laws. I am anti monopoly, not pro nanny state, nor let the rich rule over us.
I don't like Libertarians on economics anymore than I like Che on economics.
I think you can be pro private sector, with regulations, and be anti monopoly at the same time, without wanting a one party state.

There's nothing wrong with a Libertarian that reasoning with them won't aggravate.

Challenging, not really. There is just a lot of incorrect judgement, labeling and assumptions that I have learned to take in stride. Sounds like you might hold some assumptions also.
Much like being an atheist living in gods country.

If you were a real friend to him, you would have already killed him to save him from himself.

He made fun of Maxine Waters by saying she has a low IQ. Then, he proceeds to mock Chuck Todd. I'm awfully curious, do you think anyone in the GOP is embarrassed of this idiot? I'm not outraged by what he said, but I just think it's sad that this is what our country has become. We have a reality show host who thinks it's okay to insult people who he works with and others in the media. So, when will the GOP finally grow a fucking spine and tell him it's enough? And it has to be the GOP that tells him to shut the fuck up or rebel against him. The Dems don't control anything.
Do you really think a republican with a spin would be more determined to do less damage?
