This is my pet monkey. He's a bit mentally challenged. I was told, when he was young, to put him down, as his severely dimished mental capacities would gravely limit his capabilities. But, I just couldn't, he's just too damn cute.

Bettas are also called Siamese Fighting fish. Two in one tank is a recipe for ending up with one or no live fish in the tank. They will even attack their reflection.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Yes, Fergus is still there, he's in his 5 gallon.

I'm going to set up the 29 and stock it with about 20 tiny green fish and put Fergus in that (I know he can be in with schooling fish; he came from a tank with schooling fish in it) and Bowie is going in the 5 gallon.

I'll swap them back and forth between tanks to give them a change of scenery every once in a while because, no, bettas can't be kept in the same tank as each other.
