R'uh r'oh !!
Jeremiah 8 ASV

8 How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.

The Bible itself recording scribes have been up to some shenanigans ?? Oh my goodness !! Whatever shall we do ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Yeah, that's one of the 620+ contradictions of the the inerrant word of Gawd.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Out of curiosity, do you study the bible, and find these yourself? Or just read it somewhere else, and copy it to here?

Study which bible?  Yours or one of the 1,700+ others?

Such is the consistency of holy horseshit.

Totally FAKE NEWS. We need to get better scribes!

Perhaps the only verse affected is Jeremiah 8:8 ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

That doesn't sound like rejoicing in the Word to me.

TRY HARDER !!!

The Bible could contain the verse: "No holy scriptures are inerrant. Let nobody tell you tell you otherwise or they are a liar" straight from the mouth of Jesus, multiple times, and you'd still have the whack jobs pointing at 2 Timothy 3:16 and reveling in masterbatory glee at how they have more knowledge of reality than all the scientists of the world.

It's not that difficult.... I'm a little surprised, that you join the other Nitwits here. I would have thought you where better than this.

Well, you know how it goes... "Wits gonna nit"...

The odd thing is, RR, I don't even get the concept of inerrancy from the Timothy verse.

2 Timothy 3:16 Wrote:14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

My Dungeon Master's Guide is Gygax-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in the rules of D&D, but that doesn't mean it doesn't contain errors.

Plus, I just wanna add that I'm debating a fundie on another forum about how relaxing immigration laws won't lead to the one world government foretold in the Book of Revelation, so try not to take my zeal (counter-zeal?) too personally. I'm actually glad you popped into the thread because it was a much-needed reminder that there are plenty of sensible Christians. Sorry if my use of the term "whack job" came off as a generalization.  Undecided
