Had an interesting encounter with a so called Christian on social media today

Well I won't go into detail, but we were debating something and this woman started hurling personal insults at me because I simply had a different opinion than she did. I then mentioned her cross and how her God would not approve of what she is saying. However, she later removed the cross and continued hurling insults. Isn't this just so typical of someone that is only a Christian when it's convenient to them? haha  You either own it or you don't.

I'm sure she said a Hail Mary (or something similar) and now she's fine. I'll bet she's praying for you also. Better be careful driving today.

The god of love stuff is a facade. Their god is one of blood and death. The writers couldn't even resist saying that when Jesus comes back he's going to kill a lot of people.

I have always found this facet of Christianity so riveting. I mean apparently he is a loving God, but if you don't worship him he will dam you to eternal suffering. Now I could be wrong, but that sounds more like an abusive relationship.

Some of them want us to praise him for not just sending us all to hell. As if basic decency is something to be rewarded. He gets the "Not quite as bad as he could be" award.

For someone who claims to be an atheist, you sure to defend Christianity, a lot. You also seem to take issue with people who say bad things about it as well.

For someone who claims to be an atheist, you sure to defend Christianity, a lot. You also seem to take issue with people who say bad things about it as well.

Even-handedness is not terrible. There are a lot of assholes and hypocrites on the internet in general. Dealing with them is a pain, but they shouldn't be taken as typical representatives of their groups. They're not sending their best, folks. Some, I'm sure, are good people....
