Porn Website Sued For Spying On Users

Much like the AiG Spying, the site YouPorn used a JavaScript exploit to see which other sites visitors had gone to. They are now being sued for a breach of users' privacy.

I'm surprised that there is no fix right now for some browsers except through delving into the about:config and disabling something. I mean, WTF?

Ya porn websites are bad. They know people are just going to click all sorts of boxes "click here to see vagina" damn old horny man is going to click the shit out of that button! The urge to see the porn blinds you from the underlying dangers of visiting those websites. I know, I had to just rebuild my computer! haha

Do these measures work to protect my privacy?:

Regularly clearing my search history

Using a Firefox addon called track me not,which sets up a false browser history.

PS: Off course I don't use streaming porn.No point; I don' t even OWN a pornograph.Angel Cloud

@padraic

No, that won't help at all. Both those methods are for search engines only. If you really want to protect your privacy, you would have to delete your actual web history regularly (or just not save it at all). As many browsers have private browsing modes now, you can use those for more sensitive sites (like banking, porn, etc).

Well, we all knew porn sites were unsafe long before this. Why is this a surprise?
