Thanks, but I am by no means the best poet in the world. Some are good, some I do look back at and say, "What was I thinking?" These two you just published are ones I think are better. Although I looked back at "yestergods" in "Out Out" and since changed it to "Yesterday's gods" because it looks better. I still stand by the Ode and meaning behind Shakespeare's criticism of human folly and his intuition in that line saying we are finite.
But yea, I think it is extremely important to provide a voice to all types of art, writing, poetry, music, painting..... ect ect ect.
Once again, thank you for your work, and providing a voice for writers and poets. And everyone, don't just read/listen to mine, there are lots of other fantastic writers also on that same website.
Brian, it's not about being the best poet in the world. I'm a poet/author, too, and I make no such claim for my work. But what matters is saying what you have to say as only you can say it. Create something beautiful. some people will like it. Some won't.
when I try to read some of the so called best-seller novels I think fageddit, I will do what I will do. And you, too.
