RE: Podcasts

I might take advantage of that, but I suspect the sources of that app -- it's a web radio app -- may differ from those of traditional podcasts.

I think I agree with you on preferring reading. You can speed up and slow down where you need in order to best process the information. I get the most out of reading. For me, podcasts is a way to get some similar information, when I’m not able to read. In the car, when I’m doing design or computer work in the office. When I’m mowing the lawn. And then there are ones like Malcom Gladwell and Mike Rowe. While there podcasts have a lot of good information and ideas, I think they could be pure nonsense, and I would still just love hearing them tell it.

99 Percent Invisible - Roman Mars takes a short but deep dive into the design of things.

Keith and the Girl - famous comedians talk with Keith and Chemda about current events --- funniest podcast ever

Radiolab - My favorite podcast bar none. Auditory Nirvana and learning stuff to boot.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
